ABOUT
Amanda describes herself as an a artist who happens to be disabled not a disabled artist. She lost her left leg below the knee, also lost tops of my fingers and to add insult to injury she has had a hip replacement on the right leg. She lives with my dog Loui in Felixstowe, Suffolk and is very passionate about her art. "You know the saying get your foot in the door well she can and it doesn't hurt" Amanda has created a number of videos and is a very talented artist. Her video 'My Fallen Hero' regarding her childhood and her father back in 2013 and the challenges faced being born disabled and blaming the participation of her father in the British Nuclear testing program at Christmas Island.
CURRENT WORK
Am looking to study for my MA fine arts 🎨 been thinking about it for years now trying to justify why l should do,keep thinking it's a lot of money but as l have some money at moment think thus is my chance.
SUCCESSES
New chapter in my thoughts regarding my dad who sadly passed away on 29th April 2020 all alone in his home, this was always his wish to "leave in a box " in his own words. sadly we never made up although l reached out lots of times.
